pirate ship

Here is daddy and Jaela in the Pirate pool. Jaela just loved the pool, because, as you can see, it wasn't very deep. She had lots of fun walking around and around the pool. She also liked going down the slides with mom or dad.
Here is Jagger. He and the other little boy that he met in the pool had a lot of fun "swimming" around and they were pretending to be sharks.
Jagger had a great time in the pool! It was the highlight of his birthday week. Guard your change, everyone, because whenever Jagger sees spare change, he has to save it. (He decided this after we told him we would need to save our money before we could go there again.)
Here is a picture of the actual ship. there were several slides that the kids loved to go down! It looks foggy but that is just the humidity of the pool fogging up the camera lens! It was a great time!

Birthday Party

This weekend we celebrated Jagger's 4th Birthday. We had wanted to do it this weekend because most of the family would be around, but we had called it off because the roads were not nice, and our road in particular was drifted over so that no one could get through. Luckily, the snow plow went by at 5 PM, and we called everyone and told them to come. The roads were not pretty, but everyone had a pickup or SUV, so they all made it safely to our house. Jagger was happy to see his friends, aunt, uncles, and grandparents, and his new baby cousin! We had pizza, and Jagger could hardly wait to open his presents! Here he is with his lincoln logs, that he got from Grandma Lana and Papa Bruce. They also gave him a shovel, which was pretty exciting, because Jagger can now help Dad shovel snow. (The shovel also works really well to pick up the lincoln logs!)

These two pictures are of Jagger and his new Bike!! He told his dad he wanted 3 things for his birthday: a RED bike, Scooby Doo movie, and a cow that he could ride on. Other than the cow, Jagger got what he wanted. He can't wait until Summer, when he can ride his bike on a hot hot day. Jagger also thinks that he can pull his sister behind him in the tag along, and is making big plans!

Here is Jagger's cake and with Lightning and Mater on it. It was the easiest birthday cake ever for me to decorate. Unfortunately, the candles did not stay lit bery long. There were 3 little kids gathered around ready to blow as i was lighting them. All in all it was a pretty fun night, and I was so glad that everyone was able to come and make it to the party safely!

big happenings

We've been busy since the last post! Above is a picture of Jagger kissing his new cousin, Christopher Patrick, who he likes to call Chistabo Robin. Chris is the first son of my sister Jackie and her husband Ryan. He is also the first cousin on that side of the family. Jagger really likes him, but Jaela is not sure yet what to think. We try to keep her away from Chris, because she likes to poke at him. Unfortunately, we haven't had a chance to see much of Chris yet, even though they live pretty close, because the weather has been nasty. Right now is day 2 of being snowed in. We are having a really bad blizzard, and haven't been able to leave home since Wednesday afternoon. Hopefully we will be able to get out tomorrow, because we are planning Jagger's 4th birthday party tomorrow!

Here are Jagger and Jaela playing in their "tent" that daddy made for them. This was their "bed". They had a lot of fun playing last night, and it kept them busy since we couldn't go anywhere!

This is Jagger, Jaela, and Papa Bruce at the Hospital when baby "Christabo" was born. We went to see him, and they are eating cake, because Christopher was born on Nana Lana's birthday! (yeah, he's already a kiss up!) Jagger remembers the hospital from when his little sister was born, and he was very busy dragging Grandpa around to "the little room where there is candy"-- the vending area, which he distinctly remembers. Jagger really likes playing with his Papa Bruce, especially when we go to his house, and Jagger always has to hide Papa's pillow.
