April Update

Sorry no pictures this time... we've been having battery problems with our camera, so we were unable to take pictures of the exciting things we did this month... So we will just have a written report.

A few weeks ago, we went to Des Moines to see Aunt Jos and Uncle Bob and baby Jacob. We went the week before Jacob's 1st birthday... and had an Easter egg hunt, which Jagger enjoyed. We also got to pick up daddy's new toy, a drum sander. this is a big tool that will Make Daddy's job easier.

This past week was an exciting one. First, on Thursday, we had free tickets to see the circus. There were elephants, and lions and monkeys, and high wire acts... Jaela enjoyed the cotton candy, but got restless after sitting for over an hour... Jagger says that the circus was not fun, but we think this is because he didn't like the clowns. He thought they were scary and hid behind mom when he saw them. He seemed to enjoy seeing some of the acts, but was also disappointed that there were no giraffes.

On Friday, Jagger went to Preschool round up. He said this was a lot of fun. He said that they learned about lady bugs, and colored, and read stories, and had recess... He really like it and has been asking when he can go to school again.

We have all been enjoying the nice weather, and have been spending a lot more time outside. Jaela loves the "wee", which is the swings. Both kids have liked going for walks and bike rides. Yesterday after Mommy got home from work, we walked through the fields to grandma and grandpa's house. We went to see the pond, and saw a lot of neat wild life out there... ducks, geese, and a muskrat or some such creature (we only saw him for a moment). It was a neat time. Jagger wanted to go fishing, but we didn't have any worms. Jaela enjoyed seeing the water, and thought she needed to touch it, but then realized it was very cold. She did get to sit on George the pony, which she thought was pretty cool. She also went on Friday to see papa Bruce's new baby horse, she tried to pet it, but it was too scared.

Hopefully the next post we will be able to show more pictures
